What We Believe

The Scriptures 

We believe that the bible is the inspired word of God written by man as God spoke by illumination putting the word of God into man’s heart and man wrote what God spoke.  We believe that no prophecy ever came by the impulse of men but man moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God through scriptures.

God the Father

We believe that there is only one True and Living God existing in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  We believe that he is eternal, The Creator, Ruler of the Universe, All powerful, All knowing, All wise, and forever presence in the earth.

God the Son

We believe that he was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of Virgin Mary and came to earth to do the will of the Father.

We believe that he is both human and divine, just as much God as Man, identified himself completely with mankind yet without sin.

We believe that he died on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead on the third day, appeared to the Disciples as the Risen Savior who later ascended into heaven and now is exalted and sits at the right hand of God.

God the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity.  We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells in the heart of the believer, convicts us and draws us to repentance.  We believe the Holy Spirit which speaks , leads  and guides us into all truth.

Salvation

We believe in the Redemptive work of Christ on the cross and that he is the only way to salvation which is through Repentance.

We believe there is no other name given among men by which we can be saved and that there is no salvation apart from personal  faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.

We believe in Sanctification and Justification which is a process of being set apart for God’s purpose and being justified by faith and declared righteous to all who repent and believe in Christ Jesus.

Baptism
We believe baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of The Father, The Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. It is a act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in Christ Death, Burial, and Resurrection.  It is the believer’s testimony of their faith in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Lord’s Supper

We believe the Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act, or ritual of obedience where by members of the church partake in the Lord’s Supper which is the bread and wine symbolizing his body that was broken and bruised and the  blood that he shed at Calvary for us to have eternal life

Man

We believe that man is the direct creation of god- (Body,Soul,Spirit)made in God’s image. We believe that sin and death is the result of the Fall of Creation in the First Man Adam

Church

We believe that the church is a local church with a body of believers that fellowship with other believers. We believe the local Church is where believers come together teaching, praising, admonishing, and building one another up in knowledge, grace and truth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Eternal Security

We believe that those people who die in their sins without repentance will spend eternity in Hell and those people who die in the Lord will spend eternity in Heaven. We believe that our eternal security is based on God’s word, promises, and his love for those whom he has redeemed.
